Didn't like Zoloft? Take some Paxil

My disdain for psychiatry has become personal over the past couple of years. Charles was seeing one at the public mental health center and has recently switched to a new one at Duke. Therapy consists of seeing the shrink for 20 - 30 minutes every three or four weeks and being offered the drug du jour. Considering how painful it was for him to get himself off of Zoloft being offered Paxil yesterday was like a slap in the face.
Thinking that a college degree enables someone to care for another's mental wellbeing is a credulous idea of science.

I have been on Zoloft now for almost 5 years and have tried to get off it gradually but to no avail.
I know now the time has come for me to get off it once and for all as the bad days are starting to outway the bad. Im sick of feeling like im going crazy and only in hindsight I can see that I have also become a recluse as I cant hold down a job or function socially.
