For years I’ve had a dream akin to this:
German police rescued an American soccer fan lost in Hanover and unable to find his hotel again after helplessly wandering around the city for more than six hours after a match, federal police said Friday.

In my nightmare I’ve moved back to large city. Manhattan sort of but with parts of San Francisco transposed.
Not only can’t I remember where I live I’m not even sure how to describe the location so I can ask for help.
Since the Berlin Wall came down and my nightmares about nuclear war ended this has been my most frequent dream.
