Even when a beady-eyed witling isn’t the most powerful man in the world geopolitical forces when they impinge on the lives of us with no political or economic power are like a season of the nastiest weather. A tornado that grabs our lives into its vortex and deposits us where it may. Much like tornado it doesn’t care in what state it leaves us.
Alex will be back where she was born in a few days.
There’ll be no one to hug when I return home. Mostly the seemingly endless wait for her return.
My goal is to improve my lot while she’s gone.
Time to restore the health I lost when Charles became part of my life. Try to get on an economic even keel.
Not a cheering prospect but a sane one.
