Meatmen

I was surprised to discover that the problems I’d attributed to Time Warner’s internet service were caused by a DDoS attack on backbone root servers. Seems odd there’s only 13 of them. I kept unplugging my cable modem and rebooting my PC.
Usually I don’t let myself post entries that are mostly URLs. My own eyelids tend to droop at the sight of too many links. But . . .
Gay League is a site for gay comics fans. Ran across it at the shop yesterday. A snoozesome topic for me. But I’m glad when the mainstream comics publishers add gay characters. The only gay comics I read are the annual Meatmen (the rare story with tolerable art) and John Blackburn’s Coley stories. And here I’ve been writing about my lack of affinity for porn.
I find it hard to believe that anyone would actually buy a Fucking Machine much less dare to use it on themselves. Actually when it comes to gonads, faith and electoral politics even the sanest will lose a chunk of their I.Q. I can’t decide if these are the most disturbing or the funniest images I’ve seen lately.
Yesterday I wrote that I thought my video card was failing. I’m hoping that it is just a flaky driver. I would like to thank blorky for his offer of a video card.
I’m looking forward to the day I can replace this machine. My hope is to give Linux another try (which I last ran at something like v.97). The Xandros distro sounds very promising.
